Description Bastián Díaz 2013-02-20 22:00:32 UTC
By this I mean to save documents in ODF strict standard (and now supports Office 2013).

Since Office 2010 natively supports the ODF format (1.1) and now with Office 2013 the ODF format (1.2). However, although it seems very good news, not so much as by default in LibreOffice, always prioritizes formats a little more technically advanced (extended ODF). While improvements are always welcome, plays against interoperability between files of the same format between Office and LibreOffice. There is a way to make the change, but it seems somewhat cumbersome for new users who simply want to edit your files.

I suggest that this feature is improved, perhaps adding new entries to the window "save as" ... something.

thanks

This checkbox should be greyed out with checkmark if that mode already has been selected in menu 'Tools -> Options -> Load/Save -> General' as default

If not, there should be a simple opportunity to activate this for a single save process.

I support this request

@Rainer

I think that the different ways to activate the proposed option can live together.

Many people, for example, prefer to remain in "X" default document format and "Y" document format according to the occasion, so it should be an option in the general settings and the other in the window to save the document *.

* To the window "save or save as", the choices could be presented in a generic list and then expand a set of options for that format, as the current list is extensive.
