Running weston's make check from cron (needed to set DISPLAY).  Hangs with this process running:

/home/darxus/source.test.master/weston/tests/../src/weston --socket=test-event-test --backend=/home/darxus/source.test.master/weston/tests/../src/.libs/x11-backend.so --log=/home/darxus/source.test.master/weston/tests/logs/./event-test-serverlog.txt --modules=/home/darxus/source.test.master/weston/tests/.libs/weston-test.so,xwayland.so

Does the fix to schedule a repaint resolve this?

Kristian, you weren't keen to integrate the fix just before the 1.2. Can we re-evaluate that now we're in the new cycle.
