xorg.log from a failed dual-head attempt
This bug sounds very similar to #3105. You should try my test driver for 6.8.2 that's available here. http://www.fairlite.demon.co.uk/intel.html Excellent! i810_drv.o from the link you provided fixes this problem. I didn't do alot of testing, but everything seems to work fine, even coming back from suspend to ram it still works. The dual-head display works with the xorg.conf file I attached (using the multihead layout of course). I can try specific tests if that would help, else I would consider this fixed... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 3105 *** As I mentioned, the driver on your website fixed this problem. But the most recent xorg update (in FC4) breaks things again. I tried to get the updated driver from your website, but I get a 404 error. I realize this is probably a Fedora problem, but before i complain to them again I want to make sure. |
