Using a big image as background for a document, and using formating colors for table background are overlapped by the image, while the text still appears.

this image shows a clear view from the problem, as the image set up as background, but the table background color disappear when they encounter the image.

Thanks for reporting.

First of all, please don't over-prioritize problems. I know this affects you, and it is very annoying, but 99% of our bugs are that way. If we all mark our own bugs as blocker, I think we just can remove the priority field because it doesn't make sense anymore.

I can reproduce this behavior using Linux Mint 14 x64 with LibreOffice 4.0.2.1

Therefore I mark this bug as NEW and priority 'Normal Highest'.
Normal: prevent you to make high quality work
High: seems a quite serious problem
