On the main page: http://www.cairographics.org/pycairo/ there is outdated information about the current version of pycairo:

py2cairo-1.10.0 for python 2.x (>=2.6) 2011/05/01

This looks like if pycairo was dead, since there was not updated since the last two years!

The current version of pycairo IS 1.10.0.
Looks like pycairo is dead.

Oh, I am sorry, maybe you are right. the news-page is about cairo, not pycairo ...
