Hi Frederic, A formulea is placed as an object. The same as for example a diagram, or a part of a spreadsheet in a text document. An object has to be activated before it is possible to work in it. I doubt very much if that behaviour of double clicking can be changed. So if this issue is not te be closed as 'won't fix' then it would be an enhancement. (What maybe helps a bit: if one object is selected, the context menu has the item 'Edit'. Done with editing > Escape, and then Tab goes to the next formula.) Cheers, Cor Hi Cor, I understand there are internal reasons why this is not easy to do. The bottom line is that LO is not very convenient for writing mathematics. The developers should have a closer look at this use case (they can take many ideas from lyx which is specialized on mathematics). I agree with Cor that this is quite hard but it's a valid enhancement request so marking as such.
