Black Box at the top left screen!

I am having a ATI HIS Radeon 5970x2 and After playing some 3d games with  the latest drivers and exit the games , on the top left corner there is a square black box that is over the top ...

It looks like there's a drop shadow around the box, so it could just be a window left behind by the games or something. What does xwininfo say when you click on the box?

I have the same after playing SpaceChem(game using Mono) on Steam.
It goes away after stopping Steam.

Yep, looks like a leftover window. Probably a steam bug then, but definitely not a driver bug.
