Description Clifton Hodges 2013-06-21 18:34:01 UTC
I was using WordPerfect and it provides the PRECISE location (row/col pos) of the cursor at the text, displayed in the bottom Status Bar, and a feature to move to a precise location (e.g. like for printing checks); I can't get the "precise position" out of the rulers, all be it close. These feature would be useful, for say, like printing bank checks, and filling out forms, etc. The FRAME feature manage to accomplish this, but it is a daunting task and time-consuming using the FRAME feature for this.

Looks like a valid enhancement request to me. I changed the title a bit, so it is more clear.

@Developer who'll work on this feature: I think passing via the ux-advice mailing list will be useful :-).

Kind regards,
Joren
