This looks like a downstream Debian packaging bug to me. A default section in the sssd.conf should not be created unless the domain has actually been joined. If the sssd Debian package wishes to create an example, it should do so in an sssd.conf.example file or perhaps a commented out section. If the domain has actually been joined/configured, then realmd is producing the right response here. You cannot join a domain that has already been configured/joined on the local machine. Closing. But please reopen if you think I've misunderstood, or there is something realmd can do better. |

Created attachment 82705 [details] sssd.conf Hi, When using realm command line to join a domain, sssd package is being installed by packagekit. In the postinstall script of the package, a default /etc/sssd/sssd.conf is created. Realm is complaining about that: ! Failed to enroll machine in realm: Already have domain bigon.be in sssd.conf config file realm: Couldn't join realm: Failed to enroll machine in realm. See diagnostics.
