After today's update to 4.1, soffice crashes when the extension manager is checking for updates. This is the corresponding syslog entry

dp_gui_updatedi[12231]: segfault at 0 ip 00007f4b9cee7b92 sp 0000000044afd890 error 4 in libucpdav1.so[7f4b9cec2000+62000]

This did not happen with the previous RC version.

Caolán: do you think it could be solved with http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=3bb28b5aaef5e85a981dc9411db1f05524aeedf6 (and http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?h=libreoffice-4-1&id=b6842e227d979c24b50fe5971d183f58df4788e3 for 4.1)?

It very well could be, hard to be certain with just one line debug output, but the above fix is very plausible for that. Lets assume that it is and see if we can still get that fix into 4.1.1. Pushed to gerrit for review.

It has been pushed to "libreoffice-4-1-1":

Resolves: fdo#67539 intermittent crash on failed empty response during update


It will be available already in LibreOffice 4.1.1.
