Description bugquestcontri 2013-08-26 06:55:51 UTC
Problem description:

When there is need to arrange many cell comments on a rather small area of a spreadsheet, it would be easier (=faster) to do this work if the comments could be moved by up/down/left/right keys especially in combination with ALT key to enable smaller steps per key stroke

Therefor the request is to enable moving of cell comments by up/down/left/right keys in combination with ALT-key for smaller steps

Operating System: All
Version: 4.0.5.2 rc

AFAIK this feature in not available in any OOo/AOO/LibO version so I set version field to "inherited from OOo"

I also set status to NEW.

In the meantine you may ask help in this forum:
http://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewforum.php?f=20

I think that what you asked for may be obtained with macros.

Hi and thanks for looking already in this enhancement request and the link to the OO0 page.

Macros could be a workaround until an implemented solution is available.

I came across this matter today when I had to work with several comments in a smaller area of an spreadsheet and space optimization became important. Thus form the point of view of productivity increase I formulated the enhancement request. Now I hope that we will soon get a dev being attracted by this task.
