Description riow 2013-08-27 17:23:16 UTC
Problem description:
Failure of copying formatting from one doc file to another file.

I copy the whole page from 1 file and insert a 2nd page into another file and then paste into the 2nd page.

Steps to reproduce:
1. open two doc files, in which they contains 1 page only individually.

2. In the first file, Ctrl A and Ctrl C

3. In the 2nd file, Ctrl End to go to the end of file, Ctrl Enter to create the 2nd blank page. Ctrl V to paste everything from the first file

Current behavior:
The original formatting can't be pasted.  Apparently the color and the font can be pasted.  However the detailed formatting can't be pasted, such as line spacing and margins.
I compare the paragraph properties, and tally them. But the line spacing can't be fixed. Thus some words in a line is partially hidden beyond the bottom of a cell in a table unexpectedly.

Expected behavior:
All formatting can be copied.

Formatting problem is still a big issue in Libreoffice since a few years ago.

Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.1.0.4 release
