You could probably trigger this lockup without even involving mesa. (using, say, x11perf). Confirmed. Running intel_gpu_top -s 100000 simultaneously with x11perf -all will lock up the system. Patches on list to fix: https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/2873011/ intel_gpu_top is wontfix, and Chris pmu support is a bit stalled for now. But since that's a new feature (and we don't really track those in bugzilla) I'll close this. |
