current xorg.conf
whoops wrong bug # .. Can you try the driver from http://www.fairlite.demon.co.uk/intel.html and report back ? (In reply to comment #3) > Can you try the driver from http://www.fairlite.demon.co.uk/intel.html and > report back ? when I copy the i810_drv.so over existing one and try startx (without even enabling glx in xorg.conf) it prints error concerning ABI version mismatch between i810 module and Xserver. When starting X, add the flag -ignoreABI... So, startx -- -ignoreABI (In reply to comment #5) > When starting X, add the flag -ignoreABI... > So, > startx -- -ignoreABI I checked that. the problem is the same. it works without loading glx module, but i doesn't with it. the symptoms are as I've described above. Can you ssh into the machine from the network and get a log with DRI enabled ? Try upgrading to Xorg 7.1 and see if that cures it. Reopen if you've still got problems with the 1.7.0 driver and Xorg 7.1 |
