When choosing fullscreen (F11) in gnome-terminal the fullscreen windows gets
positioned slightly down and to the left relative to the intended position.
Alt-tabbing to other windows and back to gnome-terminal again somehow "fixes"
the problem.

Opening subsequent tabs causes the problem to reappear.  
I've also seen this happend with ephiphany.

The problem does not appear in metacity.
