Description Martin Monperrus 2013-11-13 19:45:26 UTC
I enabled SNA and TearFree with:
Option "AccelMethod" "SNA"
Option "TearFree" "true"

When giving a presentation in fullscreen with LibreOffice, it crashes Xorg (on some slides, in a non-deterministic manner). Removing TearFree fixes the bug.

System: Debian testing
xserver-xorg-video-intel: 2:2.21.15-1+ i386
LibreOffice: 4.1.2.3

If you have details of the crash that would be useful. Note that TearFree went under a massive overhaul in the 2.99.905 snapshot and is now much more usable.

The screen completely blacks out. Sometimes, I can get it back by going to the console (Ctrl-Alt-F1) and back again to X (Ctrl-Alt-F8).

OK. Looking forward to using it.

Pretty certain the crash is fixed, but I still need some debugging information on when the screen goes blank. If possible can you build from git with --enable-debug=full and send me the Xorg.0.log when it goes blank/dies?
