There is no tearing avoidance yet for XVideo with glamor. At this time, the only hope of avoiding tearing with radeonsi is to use vdpau or OpenGL output in fullscreen using page flipping. To achieve page flipping, make sure the video window dimensions match the X11 screen dimensions, and if you're using a compositing manager, make sure it unredirects fullscreen windows. I guess Option "TearFree" "on" should fix this as well. I wonder why it is disabled by default. -- GitLab Migration Automatic Message -- This bug has been migrated to freedesktop.org's GitLab instance and has been closed from further activity.
