Already fixed in the git repo. (In reply to comment #0) > Of course, totem won't let me > switch the driver either --- Where has "Multimedia System Selector" gone? It's hidden by default in Dapper, along with some other useful stuff (have you missed the System Tools menu yet?). Don't ask me why. :-/ You can reenable it using the Alacarte Menu Editor (in Accessories). Cheers, Felix |

This is an email that I have received ragarding a bug report filed wiht Ubuntu: This information is also in ubuntu's bugreport. I installed Dapper and I chose i810 and results in a working X. However, whenever I play video, the colors are distorted very much. I tried with mplayer and found that if I switch the video driver from "xv" to "gl", then colors will be ok, but very slow. Of course, totem won't let me switch the driver either --- Where has "Multimedia System Selector" gone? I cannot test using Breezy since it hangs somewhere during booting the Live CD. sltam@beech:~$ sudo lspci -v ... 0000:00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 945G Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02) (prog-if 00 [VGA]) Subsystem: Foxconn International, Inc.: Unknown device 0cc0 Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 193 Memory at fdf00000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512K] I/O ports at ff00 [size=8] Memory at d0000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M] Memory at fdf80000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=256K] Capabilities: [90] Message Signalled Interrupts: 64bit- Queue=0/0 Enable- Capabilities: [d0] Power Management version 2 ...
