This should be fixed (well, worked around) in master. I missed this report somehow - it's the same as 85367. Normally I'd mark the newer one as the duplicate, but there's more analysis on that bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 85367 *** |

Created attachment 92223 [details] dmesg I have Debian testing on Acer Extensa 5220 with integrated graphic controller 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (primary) [8086:2a02] (rev 03) using i915 driver. When I run the program glmark2 the video card stops working (the screen goes black). In the dmesg there are messages like [drm] stuck on render ring [drm:i915_error_work_func], resetting chip [drm:i915_set_reset_status] *ERROR* render ring hung inside bo (0x53b0000 ctx 0) at 0x53b15fc [drm:i915_reset] *ERROR* Failed to reset chip.
