Created attachment 93331 [details]
dmesg of CPU stall
"INFO: rcu_sched self-detected stall on CPU { 0}" also happens sometimes
Created attachment 93959 [details] [review] workaround for the issue calim on #nouveau suggested this workaround which seems to disable some kind of compression or something. I've tested for a few days and indeed I haven't heard from this PLTCG thing anymore since applying that patch. The previously mentioned games are perfectly usable now. Can't reproduce anymore with kernel 3.17-rc1, nouveau from git://people.freedesktop.org/~darktama/nouveau at commit 351a08b and mesa 10.4.0-devel (git-8d8a5eb) |
