i915_dump
sry I attached it during bug creation, but it somewhat failed o.O
had to gzip it since it was >3MiB
I'm completely confused by this dump. Maybe still in vacation-mode, but little makes sense to me in here ... Write to RCS tail never wakes the GPU up after a ring switch from VCS. Reasonable assumption that it is something in the last VCS/RCS batch that sends the GPU into a funk. so it happened again today Linux doomtravel 3.13.0-16-generic #36-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 4 23:02:40 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux but there was no dump created and the GPU somehow recovered after ~10-15sec [ 7511.315543] [drm:i915_hangcheck_elapsed] *ERROR* Hangcheck timer elapsed... bsd ring idle It happend during fullscreen playback of h264 with MPV via VAAPI vainfo: VA-API version: 0.34 (libva 1.2.1) vainfo: Driver version: Intel i965 driver - 1.2.2 Sorry for slow response, do you still experience this issue? If yes, could you try the latest driver? Closed it as wontfix because of no response over 1 year. Please feel free to reopen the bug if you still have this issue. |
