dmesg from git mesa on 3.14-rc5 kernel
Log from git version of mesa and ati-dri on 3.14-rc5 kernel.
Acceleration is disabled by default on the r9 290 at the moment due to stability issues. Did you explicitly enable acceleration in your xorg.conf? Was it actually working previously or was acceleration just disabled? The same issue occurred to me with Catalyst 14.2 beta on HD 6870. Downgrading to mesa 10.3 fixed the freeze. Yes, is my fault i had Option "NoAccel" "disable". I am sorry. |
