Dmesg

There is no legacy driver for kernel 3.12+ for ati cards and now there is no open source drivers that can be used with kernel 3.12+ , the issue is that while it tries to load module radeon the whole system hangs on boot tried with kernels 3.12 and 3.13 and 3.14 on 3.14 once every 5-10 boots it MAYBE boot with radeon.dpm=0 but this is really random and may not happen for 1 day and may happen 2 times in a row but only with 3.14 on 3.12 and 3.13 system freeze is 100%.
I put the dmesg as attachment hope i can help any other way you need me cause there is no driver available for radeon 2-3-4k anymore open or not so we can work with

Hi, when you say "and now there is no open source drivers..." do you mean "the open source drivers worked on my hardware with earlier kernels than 3.12" or "the first kernel I tried is 3.12 so I've never had open source drivers running on this hardware" ?

Trying to understand if this is a regression or not.

Does the driver work ok if you remove the UVD firmware?

It used to work from kernel 3.2 since 3.11 that was the last one that i personally have used and it worked so yes it used to work in many kernel before 3.2 , 3.4 , 3.9 , 3.11 for sure dont remember if there were more.

Removing the UVD firmware kinda works.
What i mean is with ONLY kernel 3.14 i get a successful boot but i end up in mouse pointer and black screen trying to force some graphics again and again with no success , in kernels 3.12 and 3.13 same issue hang on boot , i found a workaround as i was searching that is to remove the DM and start without graphics then enter my creds and startx only then and only in kernel 3.14 i get a successful boot with correct graphics running.
I dont know until when this is going to work or after the update of 3.14 etc etc.
So issue still exists

Can you use git to bisect and identify what commit broke your system?
