cairo testcase for #7494 none

Description Eric Anholt 2006-07-28 16:06:40 UTC
Reported in bug #7494, after the first space, unantialiased text stops
rendering. cairo has worked around this, but we should probably fix the bug in
the X Server.

cairo testcase for #7494

Simple testcase for #7494. Revert 456cdb3058f3b416109a9600167cd8842300ae14 in
cairo to test.

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.
Comment 3 Adam Jackson 2008-06-20 12:14:01 UTC
This is worked around in a subtly different way in current cairo, so simply backing out their workaround is a bit harder. I don't see anything that would trigger this in the Render code from a cursory examination, but it's not critical to address for 7.4. Moving to 7.5.

and moving out to 7.6 ...
Comment 5 Michel Dänzer 2009-08-31 23:53:21 UTC
Is this still reproducible?
Comment 6 Jeremy Huddleston Sequoia 2011-04-11 14:06:59 UTC
Eric, is this still an issue? Based on above, it looks like it's being worked around now.

Not blocking 1.10.x, moving to 1.11 tracker.
