This error occurs in both 1.4 and 1.4.1.

I am trying to do a refresh-from-remote where the remote is Exchange and the local is KDE.  It does not occur if the remote is Exchange and the local is File.

The error seems to be complaining about a particular calendar entry, and is shown below.  I also have a loglevel=4 log, although it is 600MB.  I note that in the log, there appear to be a lot of errors from this same function, although only this one is shown to the user.  If I look for the particular UID I can't see any errors which are different from other entries around it.

I can reproduce the problem using --import to import the attached file into a KDE calendar source.  The problem is in the Description (if I remove that text the problem goes away).

It works okay for me. I tested using Akonadi 1.11.0 with the calender ical directory resource. This is  different from the default resource for calendar which uses one .ics file for the entire calendar, though.

Either way, the description looks okay to me.

Can you bring this up with KDE-PIM developers directly?
