Along with frequent freezes of seconds to minutes: white boxes and stripes, white text on white background, deformed buttons, ... System environment: -- chipset: Intel Ivy Bridge Graphics -- system architecture: x86_64 -- xf86-video-intel: 2:2.21.15-2+b1 -- xserver: 1:7.7+6 -- mesa: 10.1.0-5 -- libdrm: 2.4.52-1 -- kernel: 3.13-1-amd64 -- Linux distribution: debian testing -- Machine or mobo model: Lenovo X230 2306CTO -- Display connector: LVDS Reproducing steps: Run X, kde, desktop effects Additional info: When running with desktop effects off the results are better: no freezes and no display issues.
