Description pterion 2014-04-06 19:52:33 UTC
Problem description: When searching though a document using Ctrl+F tool the find box will lose selection after reaching the end of the document. The focus will move to the selection of document text and pressing Enter will delete it.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open find box Ctrl+F and search for a text string.
2. Reach the last iteration of a string. And get the message: "Do you want to continue at the beginning? LibreOffice Writer has searched to the end of the document."
3. Choose "Yes" or Enter.
4. Click Enter once again.

Current behavior: The text selection is not in the find box but in the text. And the text will be deleted.

Expected behavior: The focus should still be in the find box and pressing Enter should keep iterating through the occurrences of the searched string in the text.

Should be fixed with LibreOffice 4.3.0.

The text "Do you want to continue at the beginning? LibreOffice Writer has searched to the end of the document." will not be displayed with a dialog anymore, but as a message in the findbar instead.

Kind regards,
Joren

So it won't lose focus and typing ENTER will just continue the search?

Indeed :-).

You can test this using our master-builds which you can download here: http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/ (testing only)

Kind regards,
Joren
