Both current uim C API and Scheme-level IM API is insufficient to implement some
IM-specific behavior such as automatic committing of the preedit text on
focus-out or cursor relocation.

Lacking such features is quite inconvenient for users especially on Hangul IMs.
In addition, the API revision should also be capable of the heavy Japanese input
context sharing problem (a.k.a. context relocation) which I participated on
immodule for Qt development.

The API had been confirmed and introduced in uim 1.3.0 although bridge and IM
-side support is not completed.
