Problem description: LO crashes after testing jdbc driver class.
generic mysql-connector-java-5.1.30 from MySQL Website is used and integrated in the preference.

Steps to reproduce:
1. connect to an existing database -> MySQL
2. connect using JDBC
3. MySQL JDBC driver class is: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver -> Test class -> LO quits

Current behavior: LO quits when testing jdbc class driver

Expected behavior: doing the test and give some feedback ;)

I have tested it with LO 4.2.4.1 on OpenSUSE 12.3, 64bit rpm Linux. Have chosen mysql-connector-java-5.1.26-bin.jar which I had downloaded some times befor for a test. With this connector I could connect to the Maria-DB I have installed, could change data etc.

So I could not confirm this Bug.

Could you please write a bit down about the platform you are using?

Sorry, forgot to mention.
System is a Macbook Pro with 10.9.2 and MySQL 5.1.72 Source distribution installed from the Macports repository.

Works if using add archive instead of add folder in the preferences
