Description Ariel Filipiak 2014-04-21 02:29:05 UTC
I hope you can understand my poor English.
I am from Argentina and I downloaded and installed a few days ago the last version (4.2.3.3) in Spanish.
When I try to insert a Math Formula object in a Write document the box is very big.
I found the error. In Math Formula Editor menu I select
(Spanish) Formato > Espaciado > Categoria > Borde
(English) Format > Space? > Category > Border? (the last one)
All the borders are setted in 212,1mm; 212,2mm; 212,3mm; y 212,4mm
I can't change this values.
I downloaded the portable version I found the same problem.
Can you help me please?
Thank you in advanced for the answers.

I am using Windows 8.1 in Spanish.

Yes, your English is great.

I can reproduce your problem and I think the "Border" values are responsible for the big formula box in Writer. The best is that you don't change any values in "Spacing" (Espaciado) dialog until we fix this. So if you create a new formula and don't open the "Spacing" dialog, then the formula should be correct.

Thank you Tomaz for your soon response.
Think you that this error is possible to fix in a short time?
How can I know when you fix it?
Thank you again for your work!

Depends, I need to look what is wrong and fix it, and then a new version must be released. I guess the fix won't be in LibreOffice 4.2.4 as it is already under way.. so guess 4.2.5 which will be released in July.

It will be automatically posted here that this bug has been fixed.. and you will get a mail. So you will know - don't worry. :)
