Printed paper, showing errors.

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64bit, updated to the latest version. I can't print to my local wifi printer - Brother MFC-J6710DW. I have installed the official driver from Brother's website.

http://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadtop.aspx?c=us&lang=en&prod=mfcj6710dw_all

All of my printer's features are working fine in other applications. So, my workaround is that, I have to export my documents in LibreOffice as PDF, and print those documents with PDF viewer in Ubuntu.

There's a similar bug that had been reported. But it marked as FIXED. And the opener said the bug did not happen in 4.2.4.

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77776

So, I decided to open a new bug report as it appears not to be the same case with the bug that had been reported and FIXED.

Not a blocker to be honest. Blockers are very very rare and only apply when a majority of our users are affected. Lowering to major.

another printing issue with Brother machines... see Bug 80404 and Bug 80223
maybe not a coincidence?
Comment 3 tommy27 2014-07-09 18:59:24 UTC
is issue still reproducible with LibO 4.2.5.2?
Comment 4 tommy27 2014-07-19 08:33:33 UTC
set status to NEEDINFO still waiting for user feedback
once you answer those questions revert status to UNCONFIRMED is issue is still there or to RESOLVED WORKSFORME if issue is gone
