the pdf that pdftocairo can't render properly

In the attached pdf file, there is an area filled with grid-like pattern.
and pdftocairo -svg renders the area with many horizontal gaps. pdftoppm doesn't have this problem.

I build poppler from latest master 1b705331019b155f2138d4b9f5a5bd03ec59193d on ubuntu 14.04. configuration:
