Description Willie 2014-06-19 14:49:57 UTC
It would be nice to have an option to export a document to PDF, but without metadata (e.g. author, title). While I generally want those metadata included in my PDFs, sometimes it is useful to strip the metadata from a PDF file. I am not the only one who would like such an option, see for instance <http://ajhaupt.blogspot.nl/2012/11/create-anonymous-pdf-file.html> how cumbersome it is to export an anonymous PDF. I know for a fact that such a feature would be interesting for corporate users too, since corporates often use third-party metadata strippers for e-mail attachments and such, because the metadata *may* contain confidential information.
While I would be very happy with a checkbox to not include any metadata to the PDF, it would be even better if I would be able to distinguish between different sorts of metadata, e.g. to include title and keywords but not to include author or original file path (anonimity).
