Description emefbee 2014-07-06 20:22:10 UTC
Problem description: When you copy a sheet with charts, the charts in the new sheet will link back to the old sheet and thus in no way reflect the changes made in the new sheet.

Steps to reproduce:
1. as above
2. ....
3. ....

Current behavior:
as above.
Additionally, when you try to correct this manually by editing the charts and typing in the name of the proper sheet, another inheritance bug spawns from hell. This time only 2 of the 4 columns displayed migrated! What more: their order and properties have been messed up. So When you correct the remaining 2 sheet names, the order and colors and labels are ALL WRONG (because their properties as color, label on/off, and order in which they were put in the stacked bar graph) are now confused, turning the chart into a meaningless shit. Another long editing to correct it back. The system of properties inheritance is almost useless, sorry.

Why can't the spreadsheet just work? I'd like to install Quattro Pro 6 that came with Windows 95, as that is still WAY better than this new Libre Office. But I can't find the CD.

Expected behavior:
When copying sheets in a spreadsheet, the new sheet and its contents should be referencing to itself in a consistent manner.

Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.1.5.3 release

Hi emefbee,

thanks for reporting, but is it possible for you to try against a newer version, 4.2.5 or 4.3.0 rc2 for example?
Cheers,
Cor
