Test result is skip on good commit. The failure is able to reproduce on BSW too. [root@x-bsw01 tests]# ./kms_rotation_crc --run-subtest primary-rotation IGT-Version: 1.7-g0818875 (x86_64) (Linux: 3.17.0-rc2_drm-intel-nightly_4144c9_20140904+ x86_64) Subtest primary-rotation: TIMEOUT (In reply to Guo Jinxian from comment #1) > Test result is skip on good commit. I've checked the commit range and we introduced rotation in this range. So not a regression really, just a feature that doesn't fully work. Tuning down priority. For the actual bug: Matt, do you have any ideas? Just tested this on latest kernel and i-g-t, on a HSW machine with a single output (eDP): commit 3b18622741df60bb73608472310ceecc6bbde04b Author: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@ffwll.ch> Date: Wed Dec 3 17:57:29 2014 +0100 drm-intel-nightly: 2014y-12m-03d-16h-57m-04s UTC integration manifest $ sudo ./tests/kms_rotation_crc IGT-Version: 1.8-g4e5c16c (x86_64) (Linux: 3.18.0-rc7+ x86_64) Subtest primary-rotation: SUCCESS (20.218s) Subtest sprite-rotation: SUCCESS (21.520s) Subtest cursor-rotation: SUCCESS (20.488s) Verified on latest -nightly(691817ae2a8f37cb1df33f21a6dd1c15a8832693) [root@x-hsw24 intel-gpu-tools]# ./tests/kms_rotation_crc IGT-Version: 1.8-g4e5c16c (x86_64) (Linux: 3.18.0-rc7_drm-intel-nightly_691817_20141202+ x86_64) Subtest primary-rotation: SUCCESS (4.815s) Subtest sprite-rotation: SUCCESS (5.054s) Subtest cursor-rotation: SUCCESS (4.832s) Closing old verified. |
