Noticed a GPU HANG in my dmesg when troubleshooting an unrelated problem. I had no apparent failure in any userspace applications.

[ 1476.335540] [drm] stuck on render ring
[ 1476.340205] [drm] GPU HANG: ecode 0:0xfdffffdd, in Xorg.bin [447], reason: Ring hung, action: reset
[ 1476.340287] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace.
[ 1476.340293] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[ 1476.340297] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right component if it's not a kernel issue.
[ 1476.340305] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so please always attach it.
[ 1476.340309] [drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error

Dies in the CS stall/invalidate before a batch and after a double pageflip.

Please try kernel v4.4.

Timeout. Assuming that it is fixed by now. If this is not the case, please re-test with latest kernel & Mesa to see if this issue is still occurring since there were improvements pushed in kernel and Mesa that will benefit to your system.
