Created attachment 106437 [details] patch for comparing test-suite output Disabling it, as with the attached patch, makes many xlib tests pass. It was reintroduced in commit 5bc1b1f6a, and apparently its limitations are known. I think that if the trade-off performance/quality is acceptable, then tests slightly modified should see their reference images updated and the remaining should be marked XFAIL. Otherwise old minor differences will shadow future real bugs/artifacts.
