dmesg with drm.debug=0xe showing the warnings
(In reply to comment #1) > Created attachment 106496 [details] > dmesg with drm.debug=0xe showing the warnings That's not the full dmesg from boot. Please increase log_buf_len so that you can capture it all. *** Bug 84037 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Created attachment 106573 [details]
complete dmesg with drm.debug=0xe and higher log_buf_len
Looks like you're using a DP-to-VGA dongle, is that correct? (In reply to comment #5) > Looks like you're using a DP-to-VGA dongle, is that correct? I don't know the terminology, but it's a converter from thunderbolt to VGA. My Macbook has no VGA port. I see the NEEDINFO status for this bug. What other information is needed? The bug still happens with 3.17-rc7. There have been a few fixes in this area since the last update, can you try the drm-intel-nightly branch again? (In reply to Jesse Barnes from comment #8) > There have been a few fixes in this area since the last update, can you try > the drm-intel-nightly branch again? This is no longer an issue with the latest kernel v3.18. It can be closed as far as I'm concerned! Thanks. Considering fixed then. Closing as "...can be closed as far as I'm concerned..." |
