Description Aleksandar Kostadinov 2014-09-23 09:03:52 UTC
I wanted to create a sink for network rtp sound broadcasting, So I used these two lines in default.pa:

> load-module module-null-sink sink_name=rtp
> load-module module-rtp-send source=rtp.monitor

Unfortunately it immediately starts flooding network on 224.0.0.56:46806

Looks like other people are seeing same issue as well:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/411688

Note that I do not set the sink as a default one. I wanted to use it only for particular apps with `PULSE_SINK=rtp`. So it is flooding network only by mere being loaded.

Using fedora20 pulseaudio-5.0-7.fc20.x86_64
