Currently when setting up a Google Drive connection, in the username and password entry dialog, you can enter an invalid password. To improve the UI, we should:

1) Have better error handling. Currently you are allowed to enter an incorrect password. And later in the process you get a "General input/output error" along with other strange behavior. Instead of this general, non-descriptive error message, we should get an invalid username or password error and the Authentication Required dialog should popup.

2) The Authentication Required dialog should not allow you to "OK" until you have entered a valid password. You should be able to cancel, but if you enter an invalid one and press "OK", it should give you the descriptive error message from 1) "Invalid username or password" and pop back up allowing you to enter the correct credentials.

Both these changes should be made together, because if just 2) is implemented, people like me that change their password often will have to deal with the buggy current behavior when the password is incorrect.

Yes i've experienced this as well and with me, i checked the save password checkbox, so the dialog never appeared again, so it may be doing an infinite loop with a wrong password.
