On the latest stepping of broadwell on Ubuntu linux 14.04 with the intel driver from source, using Unity elements of the Interface fail to render, Including the background, and the items on the left hand bar of the file manager and the icons and text entries in the poweroff menu. This bug does not appear on older revisions of the hardware, nor when using the UXA driver.
