Hello, Since being able to install the new beta nvidia drivers and try out compiz via xorg, I have had this minimization problem where the window being minimized displays "trails" of the minimization animation. In order to illustrate my point, please take a look at: http://img181.imageshack.us/my.php?image=minimizecorruptiq1.jpg (sorry for the imageshack, best place I could find for the moment) I do not have this problem with the beryl window manager however I intend to use compiz so please let me know if there are any additional information you may need. At first I thought it may be a driver issue, but after contacting nvidia, they said it was not. I will include some system information: gentoo 2006.1, GCC 4.1.1, Xorg, Nvidia 9625, cairo 1.2.4 Also I do not believe I am the only one as I have seen at least one user with an intel video card claim that he has this exact problem.

Basically you need to reset all of the Compiz settings via gconf. This post describes it well: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-505255-highlight-.html
