*** Bug 85003 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Hi sabaridevi, I don't reproduce using LO 4.3.2.2 with Windows 7 Home Premium. When I put cursor within a cell, CTRL+A select the content of the cell. On which Windows OS do you work? XP, 7, 8?... Jacques I set tyhe Status to NEEDINFO but be free to put it to UNCONFIRMED once answered. Thanks, Jacques sorry, i forget to mention,i using windows 7 ultimate(32 bit os). and iam using the libreofce version 4.3.0.2 Thanks sabaridevi, Can you try: Double clic to put cursor into a cell and got to menu Edit > Select All This is aanother way to get the same result as CTRL+A. Do you still select the whole sheet or only the content of the cell? If you get the same result than before, can you try to rename your profile: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/UserProfile#Resetting_the_User-Profile Regards, Jacques Created attachment 107849 [details]

(In reply to sabaridevi from comment #4) > sorry, i forget to mention,i using windows 7 ultimate(32 bit os). > > and iam using the libreofce version 4.3.0.2 Current version for branch 4.3 is 4.3.2, two bugfixes since the release of 4.3.0. Please upgrade your LibreOffice installation and try again. Best regards. JBF To Comment 6: Do I understand that right, that you want the whole cell (not only the text in the cell) to look like selected (marked as blue as if you select the whole sheet)? (In reply to A (Andy) from comment #8) > To Comment 6: > Do I understand that right, that you want the whole cell (not only the text > in the cell) to look like selected (marked as blue as if you select the > whole sheet)? yes i want to select the whole cell, not the text in the particular cell.. @sabaridevi: But why is it not enough if only the cell content is selected (shown as selected)? If you copy it then the whole cell is copied and in the new cell you have an one-to-one copy of the copied cell. iam not getting wht ur saying..pls check the attachment that i send before, what i exactly saying.. I see it, but what do you want to do with the in that form selected cell? I suppose you need it for something you want to do with this cell? |
