Description Ken 2014-10-16 23:48:18 UTC
Gnome 3.10.2
Base System:openSUSE 13.1 (Bottle) (i586) 32-bit

Polkit 0.112-2.1 installed at 10/12/2014
Authentication agent fails to process/authenticate root/administrator password.

clicking the "Authenticate" button after entering the proper/correct password results with authentication agent feed back of "Sorry, that didn't work. Please try again."

Applications that use Polkit 0.112-2.1 to authorize the user to update/install files from repository is halted.

I have duplicated this on two (2) different laptops.Dell Latitude C640 & HP nx6110.
Comment 1 Ken 2014-10-18 03:19:28 UTC
Due to issues other than Polkit 0.112-2.1, I had to format & reinstall OS. I am NO LONGER having issues with the Authentication agent processing/authenticating root/administrator password.

Apparently it is not a bug, just crazy that I had it pop up on TWO laptops at the same time.

Thank you
