With http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/polkit.git/commit/?id=1224d7b427a507339087e2f72c481b560c85149b , and docs/polkit/overview.xml saying

libpolkit-gobject really should provide an one-stop API that implements the fallback.  We do not want dozens of applications hard-coding UID=0 and having to be individually modified to take capabilities/SELinux/whatever comes in the future into account
