Comment 1 Daniel Vetter 2014-11-25 08:44:53 UTC
Well it's not even detected (according to dmesg) and you don't tell me what kind of screen it is. Please describe:
- output type (hdmi/dp/..)
- please grab xrandr --verbose for this screen from a working machine
- please describe which step exactly fails (i.e. failure to detect with xrandr or failure to light up)
- please grab a new dmesg from boot-up (yours is cut off)
- please exlain when/how you've captured your dmesg while testing (i.e. at which timestamp point have you plugged in the screen and stuff like that).

I tried with latest BIOS (V53), connected the second HDMI port (not the default HDMI port) to Acer HS244HQ. HDMI screen shows nothing yet. But testdisplay -i shows :

If I connect to the default HDMI port, testdisplay -i show all HDMI port is disconnected.
