The purpose of this bug is to inform you guys that Linux has a readdir()
implemenation in the shipped libc packages. Its available since a few years. Its
widely tested and its probably bugfree.
Even a manual page exists.

Use it when looking for PCI devices. It will shrink the strace logs alot...

So did you have a patch for that?

(ie, yes, we know, the PCI scan code is broken in lots of ways so we're not touching this for now.)
