log after crashing
This is the Xorg.log generated on failure.

This is the xorg.conf file that works.
Replacing "nv" with "nouveau" generated the errors referenced in the server
log.
The xorg-x11-drv-nouveau-20061019T1837-1.git.i386.rpm rpm also compiled and installed. I did not mention this previously. Created attachment 7473 [details]
xorg.conf on same computer, different setup
This is an xorg.conf file for another instalation of fedora development that
works with the nv driver but errors with the nouveau driver. The other
xorg.conf file was generated by X -configure. This version was generated by
system-config-display. An X log will also be attached from this other
installation on the same box.

Another log with s-c-display generated xorg.conf vs. previous X -configure
Both configurations are dual display with an AGP Nvidia as secondary and a PCI
Matrox G200 as primary.
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV5M64 [RIVA TNT2 Model
64/Model 64 Pro] (rev 15)
02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Matrox Graphics, Inc. MGA G200 (rev 01)

Loade but crashed once I panned the mouse over to the NVidia display
This will be the last log submittal for awhile. I booted into the system using
XFCE as the window manager. Both displays worked and displayed items. However,
when I moved the mouse over to the NVidia display, the server crashed.
Both KDE and GNOME would crash very shortly after logging in. XFCE only gave
out once panned to.

The compilation of the driver and installation of the driver works for FC6
Though I cannot get 3D running at this particular point. Here is the xorg log
of my current successful session.
I just made a few changes to the xorg.conf file regarding modules from the X
-configure generated version to the "suggested" loading module range.
