It's more likely this is a kernel issue. Please boot your kernel with drm.debug=14 in its command line, and then attach the full dmesg to this bug. Also, can you test if the bug is still present with the latest drm-intel-nightly kernel? The display port is working, there was a bad interplay between VGA referred to as DP2 and the actual display port on DP1. Why is the VGA port called DP2? and not VGA or VGA1?
