Changing the language of the text from English (Australia) to Hungarian using the keyboard.

h (Character)
Alt+h (Language)
hu (Hungarian comes up)
Enter

Language does not change but remains as English (Australia) as shown in the status bar at the bottom of the LibreOffice Writer document.

Indeed, if you enter the text in that field, it does not select the corresponding list item.
